The wonderful thing that happened from where I come is that the release
notes/announcement got translated into Indian languages. Ok, not all of
them - but it is a start. There's nothing rocket science which the KDE
team did - just glued a large group of their userbase together and made
them feel proud to be part of contributing to PR materials

That's where the magic is
