I can't say for sure. But I think it might be necessary to change the following line in db2html.xsl:
<xsl:value-of select="yelp:get-title-text(/article)"/>
change to
<xsl:value-of select="yelp:get-title-text(/*)"/>
I think that should get the sections to display. As I understand it, the db2html.xsl was designed to handle real notes with several pages. This time around there is just one page for the release notes.
Probably best for me to finish reading the yelp and docbook xsl documentation.

I didn't know how to have the page generated without this box. There's a
reason why I asked for help ;-)
It's still not too late to remove it if someone knows how to do this.
You probably just need to look at the xsl files in
http://svn.gnome.org/viewcvs/gnomeweb-wml/trunk/docbook_html_style/
