I take that back, just had a short chat with Thilo and I have an idea:
focus on the developer and the work cycle of the developer, which
includes writing code, taking notes or keeping task lists (tomboy and
its bullets), doing presentations (without xscreensaver interrupting
all the time) etc etc. I will have a working draft completed before
sunday evening. If i write in this way, it makes Thilo's job of
writing the release notes for foresight distro even easier.

Hello Q:
I am not sure how to boil down this release into 5 hot topics. Where does one get that information?
But most of the improvements seem to be leaning towards bring the user experience to some sort of Gnome ideal
of simplicity and functionality.
Assuming the notes that have been posted http://live.gnome.org/TwoPointSeventeen/ReleaseNotes are accurate
and up to date, and the NEWS and Changelog from the release candidates, I planned on finishing my draft by
this sunday evening. You can already seem where I am heading if you look here:

Thanks for keeping me focused on this.
