Cool! I think if you take out the file chooser icon and instead you add preferences-desktop-wallpaper.svg and printer.svg you are there in terms of icon selection. We can stick to five and just change an icon if a better candidate is suggested. About the movement effect, I would wait until we have the banner we like, as we like it. There is still some potential improvement in the structure. The GNOME logo should be clearly visible and identifiable. Now it's good only if the banner is for GNOME fans tired of seeing the logo everyday. I still think some rearrangement of the elements in a less centered-symetric position will improve the banner.
