[Ekiga-list] Question about placing a call from Ekiga witout having to add the registrar's information

Hi,

I have recently installed Ekiga and would love to continue using it via an SIP registrar from my country, Canada.

Everything seems to be working fine except for the fact that every time I want to place a call to another number, I need to add the registrar’s name at the end of my number.  For example, to place a call to 439-356-6868 (invented number), I would need to enter 4393566868 digitalvoice ca which Ekiga would next automatically transforms into sip:4393566868 digitalvoice ca

However, if I place a call using a number in my contacts or if I double-click on a call already listed in the call history, everything works fine and I do not need to add the @digitalvoice.ca extension.

Is there any way around that problem?  What can I do to place a call to someone who is not already in my contacts without having to add the registrar’s information at the end of the number (e.g. 4393566868@digitalvoice.ca ) ?

Thank you very much for your help,

Thanks and regards,

Christine
