Dave, please install ekiga 3.3.0 (not the pre-) and tell us if the two 
crashes above are still there.  If yes, start ekiga in debug mode 
(http://wiki.ekiga.org/index.php/Debugging_Ekiga#How_to_get_a_debug_output_2) 
and send us the output.
