For the first error (about network settings), look at the Web page provided.

For the second error (video), you need to send us the debug output, see 
http://wiki.ekiga.org/index.php/Debugging_Ekiga#How_to_get_a_debug_output_2 
.  Your error could be the same as 
https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=626515, which is currently 
not fixed.
