You can have several accounts of differents SIP or H323 providers to
which you can be subscribed at the same time.
But there is only one you have as "preferred" and thru which all your
call will by default pass except if in the URL field you specify
XXXX your_provider
for example you subscribed an account to ekiga.net an account to
SIP1_provider and SIP2_provider.
if your default account is ekiga.net, if you just call "sip:500"
the call will be interpreted as "sip:500 ekiga net".
if you wanted to call the user 500 from the provider SIP1_provider you
should have explicitely had to write "sip:500 SIP1_provider" in the URL
field.
So Damien's question was how to display efficiently the information you
request for for someone who has dozen of accounts. All the accounts can
be registered at the same time. So which one displaying ?
All ? would give an awfull GUI, wouldn't it ?
My proposal was, thus, only the default one.
my 2¢,
Fabrice
