[Ekiga-list] Ekiga && H.323 'Gatekeeper ID' && no success

Hello,

We have some Sony Viewstation SX7000 which can successfully register
to a remote Gatekeeper of the DFN. To make this success I've had
to enter in one of the menus of the Viewstation in a field
labelled as 'H.323-Extension (E.164' a unique number of the format
004989613... (i.e. which has the country-code 0049 and region-code
89 and some number 613..., this was requested by the Admin of
the Gatekeeper); after entering this the Viewstation registered fine;

now I want to do the same with Ekiga 2.0.2 on FreeBSD 6.2R;

The first question is: where to put this E.164 number? Is this
the field 'Gatekeeper ID' in the Account below the menu item
'More Options'?

I can not register to the Gatekeeper when I put there the string
004989613... and not even when I put there 'viewstation 301616'.
I used tcpdump to see the diff in the successful registration
from the Sony Viewstation and the unsuccessful from Ekiga. Here
is the Sony Viewstation:

Interesting for me was that the string 004989613... is not part of
the UDP data send from the Viewstation to the Gatekeeper. Why that?
The Admin claims that it must be provided to register...

And why the Ekiga can't register. There is no answer from the
Gatekeeper when the UDP is send (twice); I've as well filled in
'viewstation 301616' as it was sent by the Viewstation:

Sure, that I'm doing something wrong. Why the Gatekeeper is
not answering the request?
