Can you try to launch luvcview (get it from http://mxhaard.free.fr/download.html)
and tell me what you see for this command "./luvcview -L" ?
Luc
Hi Luc,
Although I was not able to compile luvcview from source, I found a debian
package for it at
http://www.researchut.com/blog/archive/2007/01/31/luvcview_debian_package
and was able to install it. I found that with the flag
luvcview -w
it works! Without this flag, the image is highly distorted and
unrecognizable. The output you asked for from luvcview -L is
luvcview version 0.2.0

Does this give any clues as to how to make it work with ekiga?

Other users have reported it to be working, but I'm not having any luck. I

I've this webcam and sometimes the webcam is not properly detected when
