Hi,
I am new to the project, but it seems to be promising.

1. you say you are looking for a windows maintainer, years ago i was
working on cross compiling gnome stuff to windows from linux using
mingw and wine, any experience with this? It might make sense to do
that.

2. the wiki page is not quite correct :
 I have an amendment to the svn build instructions : ./configure
--enable-sunaudio=no --enable-oss=yes  --enable-url --disable-sdl

i needed to add :  --enable-url

please create me an account h4ck3rm1k3 for the wiki.

3. I cannot seem to get the libopal to recognise my ffmpeg :

It builds and links the mpeg plugin... but
here is my configure :

./configure --prefix=/home/mdupont/2009/03/install --enable-localspeex
LDFLAGS=-L/home/mdupont/2009/03/install/lib
--with-libavcodec-source-dir=/home/mdupont/2009/03/ffmpeg
CFLAGS=-I/home/mdupont/2009/03/install/include/libavcodec

The results are :
     MPEG4 Part 2  :  no

but when i do this:
ekiga/opal/plugins/video/MPEG4-ffmpeg$ make
make: `mpeg4-ffmpeg_video_pwplugin.so' is up to date.
