I suggest you ( or whoever is running the ekiga lists)
should start new newsgroups on gmane for the ekiga lists
under the ekiga name. That way we won't continue to
propagate the gnomemeeting name, and allow guys like me to
post to the list :)
The official mailing-lists are at gnome.org and work correctly.
I suggest you complain to gmane instead.

I'm getting off on the wrong foot here. I'm not complaining.
Certainly not to the devs of my favorite software :)
I can talk to gmane all I want, but it won't help. I don't
manage the ekiga lists.
As a favor to us who prefer newsgroups, could you guys set
up ekiga lists on gmane?
It is already setup:
Group gmane.comp.gnome.apps.gnomemeeting
Description GnomeMeeting's mailing list
Address ekiga-list
Status posting allowed
The address of the list seems to be correct. I do not know how to change
the rest, I have not added the list myself...
OK, but look at the way gmane describes gnomemeeting-devel:
Group gmane.comp.gnome.apps.gnomemeeting.devel
Description GnomeMeeting development list
Address gnomemeeting-devel-list <-----------
Status posting allowed
Url http://www.gnomemeeting.org
It still pointing to the gnomemeeting-dev list, not the
ekiga-dev list.
Thanks.
