Well, my PLEX server matches songs to metadata all the time, no magic there.

The "before" file that I tested had no TYER tag, the "after" had the tag and the correct year.
 
It also ads the mp3gain info at the end of the file.
Do you mean it adds mp3gain information to files that never had it
before?  (Again, I don't see how this would be possible given the
scanning time.)  Or just that it moves existing mp3gain information
within the file?

What I should have said was it changed the mp3gain values in the after file.
