Bug report: Frequently reported crashes when writing CDDB content to tags

the following scenario crashes (memory violation) EasyTAG 2.4.2 on
Gentoo Linux when updating tags from CDDB content:
- Select a group of files from a CD
- Retrieve (either manual or automatically from file list) CD information
- select one of the retrieved CD records
- press write to tags w/o having prior at least one file selected (this
is actually the default case, as w/o active selection no track/file is
selected)

Everything goes as intended (tags updated without any crash) if at least
one track/file is selected for update.
