Hello, I just discovered http://acoustid.org/docs and uploaded some
fingerprints from my library.

I was wondering how feasible or likely would the integration of the
opensource AcousticID service be into the program. Whether that be
fingerprinting and uploading tag metadata or downloading and filling tag
metadata.

I think it would be a very useful feature, especially if combined with MusicBrainz searching, as the best AcoustID fingerprints are ones that are linked to the corresponding recording on MusicBrainz.

The library provided for creating fingerprints is Chromaprint:

http://acoustid.org/chromaprint

It needs raw audio data, so it probably makes sense to use another tool to decode the audio data, as I do not want to do that directly in EasyTAG.

I will not have time to work on it in the near future, but will be happy to review patches or a git branch.
