I noticed there is now the sourceforge git repo which has attracted
some patches. There have been some that came in via
github in the meantime so I would suggest merging them in. The ones
you haven't got are:

However if you merge my master you'll see I've already resolved some
conflicts - mainly caused by the split tag re-factoring.
The merge should be clean.
