Can we petition SourceForge to hand over access to someone on the list? I think it would resolve a lot of confusion if we could take down the old repository/web page, and put up details about the project status and where to submit bugs, etc. I wouldn't have found the git repo without signing on to the list and asking how to submit patches.

I'm not sure why I keep hearing this come up from time to time on the
list, but Easytag obviously isn't dead. Just because the original
maintainer has vanished hasn't prevented us from submitting patches to a
new repository and carrying on with its development. The software libre
philosophy is a robust one and Easytag is a testament to that.
