Re: [Easytag-mailing] Easytag and network server

I have all of my audio files on a network server cifs mounted under my

a local drive, then I have no problem writing the tag. What is the
cause of this? Is there some Samba setting that will correct this?

I've noticed similar issues writing tags to an SSHFS mounted via fuse
(the way GNOME seems to mount SSH volumes now). I thought all the work
in tagging FLAC files was done by writing to a temp file which was moved
to replace the original file, so I didn't imagine there would be any
problems. But I can't successfully tag an album mounted via SSHFS.

When I navigate to ~/.gvfs/ and then pick my mounted remote SSHFS share
and a directory in which I've placed a lot of FLAC files, I can't
successfully change any of their tags.

Has anyone been able to duplicate this behavior?
