On some, yeah, black area appears. But most are awfully colored with some
areas being shifted, if you get what I mean.

I have 2.8 running on FC5. However, easyTag seems to be able to open 'em
without any glitches. So it seems that there's probably a bug with the way
JPEGs (yeah, over here ONLY JPEGs have this problem, that too only the ones
which already had a cover (but the previous cover was absolutely okay)) are
handled by either easyTag or by Linux media players.

Those are the only ones that have this problem, and all had JPEGs (except for
one, which had "Unknown Image" as the type) which were already there (or
copied from other MP3s by easyTag's copy-thingy).
Apart from these, there are some which refuse to show up on amaroK. Not been
able to figure out why, but the covers are still there...
