Re: [Easytag-mailing] EasyTAG and scandinavian characters

Hi,

Does the ISO-5589-1 encoding locale is correct for Finnish?
I don't know if it is due to the 64bit, but the "¨" character is placed after the right letter as a new "letter". Quite strange...

Hi,

I was looking for good mp3 tagger and none is better than EasyTAG but
I ran into some problems in Windows version.

I downloaded and installed the newest GTK+ runtime environment 2.10.13
and then the 2.1.2 Beta EasyTAG. Everything seems to be working fine
expect I'm having problems with files which have scandinavian
characters in them.

When I try to access some directory with scandinavian characters like
Artist called "J. Karjalainen" and his album named "Päiväkirja". I'm
getting error message saying "arg list too long". Also the
scandinavian characters are displayed wrongly in the tree list. Here's
a picture:

Any ideas what to do? I tried both the devel and stable releases they
behaved the same way. Operating system is: Windows Vista 64-bit Home
Premium.

GIMP is able to access the directory and shows file/directory -names
correctly. So I assume that the GTK+ runtime is working properly.
