[Easytag-mailing] can't compile 0.28

I'm using RH 7.3, and have read the INSTALL file, and my ldconfig is
exactly as shown.

When I attempt to compile 0.28, I get the following error;

that's where it aborts.

As per the INSTALL file;

ldconfig -p|grep libid3
        libid3.so (libc6) => /usr/lib/libid3.so
        libid3-3.8.so.2 (libc6) => /usr/lib/libid3-3.8.so.2

any ideas?

Thanks
