Hi,

Yes, it's possible. We did it for Maemo (N800) but only for Dogtail ver. 0.5.0. The new version (0.6.1) has heavy dependency on gnome desktop with all its dependencies... but we're working on that, too.

Subject: dogtail Can i port Dogtail on ARM

Is it possible to port Dogtail on an ARM Device

Goals:

is it possible to Port Dogtail to ARM for the Access Linux Platform.

can it be possible to Minimize dependencies such that the impact of Dogtail on the device under test is minimum in terms of performance and memory consumption for  effective testing.
Creating a Client-Server remote execution model

In the current Dogtail architecture it would mean, that the (TestScripts)-(Dogtail-Recorder) would be on the desktop while the AT-SPI will reside on the device.
