Summary: script recorder does not show errors (which appear when
                    running script)
           Product: dogtail
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: Normal
         Component: Recorder
        AssignedTo: dogtail-maint gnome bugs

see picture: I had to run the python script in order to find out the
underlying error that the script did not get played

advantage of feature:
if there would be shown immediately (e.g. in a seperate box) messages then:
- users save time (by not running additionally the script)
- also for fresh users who are not familiar (with the OS, python, ...) would
get immediate feedback and stay perhaps longer users of this software -
instead of wondering
like: "hm, why doesn't it work ? seems broken. Let's try another software."

My basic system information:

Fedora 10 (running in VirtualBox)
Gnome 2.24.2
dogtail 0.6.90-1.401.fc10.noarch

Other information:
- On request, I can provide more info
