Thanks for this information. Highly appreciated.

Some question though: NM 0.9.6.4 has been released, but it seems this
patch is still necessary, so NM probably did not release what you meant
it to  be in the end.

Also, even with this patch applied, I fail to build g-c-c 3.7.1 against
NM 0.9.6.4, with a build error like

cc-network-panel.c:34:35: fatal error: libnm-gtk/nm-ui-utils.h: No such
file or directory

`/home/abuild/rpmbuild/BUILD/gnome-control-center-3.7.1/panels/network'

So all in all, I think NM/g-c-c don't like each other at the moment :)
