Bad crashers in gnome-desktop

Heya,

If your bugzillas and other bug trackers are filled with "random"
crashers in gnome-settings-daemon's display plugin, or
gnome-control-center's display panel/capplet, you'll want to try and
include those 2 patches into your distributions:

Both were cherry-picked into as old as gnome-2-28.

Hopefully Vincent would do releases for those, to ease integration. In
the meanwhile, patches are available.
