Unfortunately, NSIS, the software I use to create the Windows installer 
uses the $\r sequence to indicate
line breaks. I've added 
https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=667500 and will try to work 
around the problem. Thanks for reporting it!
