DocBook Graphics: Use complete filename in fileref attribute?

Hello All,

Currently the graphic fileref attributes in the DocBook files exclude
the file type extension.

In Docbook - The Definitive Guide they are included:

http://www.docbook.org/tdg/en/html/graphic.html

Do you think we can change this?
