IÃÂm in the process of evaluating DIA for a certain application. For
this application it would be nice if a new document would come up with
landscape format rather than portrait. How can I change this default
setting? In the given version the program obviously forget the state
which was set at File -> settings -> alignment -> landscape -> ok

Sounds like it must be a Windows-specific thing, under Linux I have it
working fine. Hans, any ideas?

Yes, read the ChangeLog (-:

      * app/preferences.c : move "Compressed saved files" to
"Diagram defaults", the setting already beahved like the other
      defaults. Fixes bug #439894.
      * app/diagram.c : finally respect diagram defaults again, probably
broken with 0.95. Fixes bug #477451

I thought I'd seen it, but searching for "Landscape" and "Portrait"
wouldn't hit that one. Thank you!
