How to export anti-aliased graphics files?

On FreeBSD, dia exports anti-aliased PNG files.
But on Ubuntu, PNG files are exported non-antialiased
(regardless of viewing them AA or non-AA).
How can I enable anti-aliasing during exporting?
Do I need to install plugin on Ubuntu?
