Looks like a nice solution, especially as IE 7 isn't supporting SVG any time soon. I am still having terrible trouble with the SVG output. I'm noticed on bugzilla that there is a solution and wondering when the next official release will be out and will te text display issues be resolved for SVG. i.e. here:

I just wanted to share a solution that I found to quickly publish
diagrams :
I publish them in the CGM format, which is handled nicely by dia, and
then
I embed them in a web page using the CGM viewer applet

Works very well, and removes the need for the end user to install SVG
plugins etc.
