gnomeprint plugin

I realize I've bugged you guys about this in the past but I see you've 
re-added the experimental support for gnomeprint.  I have compiled 0.95 
with support for this and verified that the plugin is loaded, but I am 
still presented with the old, simple print dialog instead of the one 
from libgnomeprint-ui.  Occassionally, I receive this at startup:

String printer-command registered before loading persistence!
String printer-file registered before loading persistence!

However, not everytime.   Any ideas what could cause the UI not to load?
