Font size or width issues

I have a problem with Dia under Win32.

It happens under Win32: screen, printed and png-exported fonts are
slightly size.

To reproduce, create a diagram with some text, and draw a line of the same
apparent width of the text. This is usefule when you want to link a text
comment to a shape or something, a la:

---+  Some comment. |
   |- - - - - - - - +
---+

Looks like large sizes come out the same between display and png-export
but slightly different on the paper, like if there were problems with
decimal precision.

But when printed, text is not exactly the same width, and diagram comes
out with issues.
