Keyboard problem

Hello,

First, I' haven't suscribded to your mailing list. So, please, answer me 
directly. I have an american keyboard, and my Xorg is configured with a 
us_intl map. But no dead-keys work correctly. They seem to be ignored. Do any 
solutions exist to correct this?
