Re: adding connection points to UML class diagrams?

One trick you can use here is to create the class, then create a straight
line, attach the two ends of the straight line to two corners of the
class. Then if you CTRL-click (or middle mouse button I believe), you
can add as many connection points as you like.

Of course, if you were using these diagrams to generate code or something
it probably would be broken because you are now making connections to the
line and not the class object, but it does allow you to not make connections
at the corners.

Hope that helps,

Use the right 'class'-element, update your dia or describe the problem more
detailed *g*.

I am using the class element in the UML package. I am running
debian's dia 0.94 patched to turn off font caching so that exporting postscript
works.

I would like to be able to add arbitrary connection points to the
class element.  is this possible?

Additionally to your lack of connection points I want to write some warning
note: Avoid the usage of "multiple inheritance" and replace it with

A, B, and C are actually interfaces. I just changed everything to be
classes because
it was irrelevant to my question.

thanks for your help!
