Re: new shortcuts interfere with gnome unicode ones

getreu web de sagde:
Hello,

This is just a reminder for bug 320495 because it is very easy
to fix, but as easy to be forgotten. Once people got used
to the new shortcuts they are hard to change afterwards:

"In Gnome f. ex. Shift-Control 3a9 enters the unicode for the omega
symbol.
Unfortunately shift-control a was choosen as keyboard menu shortcut.
Shift-Control 0-9a-fA-F shouldn't be used for this purpose.
"

This will be fixed when text entry gets its own mode. However, that is
not happening in this upcoming version. I'm loath to assign other
shortcuts, as people would then get used to those and it'd be hard to
change when we finally can.
