I've tried to, but i'm getting this error message:

* *** Looking up your hostname...
* *** Checking Ident
* *** No Ident response
* *** Found your hostname
* *** Banned: asshat (2004/08/14 19.38)
* Closing Link: rkrahl[rkrahl 255 255 255 255] (Banned)
* Disconnected (Remote host closed socket).

And since i'm an asshat and i don't know what's going on, i've stopped
trying ;-).
Is there any way to get archives of this chats? I would like to learn
something...
