compiling dia CVS: Missing UNICODE_CFLAGS?

Trying to compile the dia CVS version,

I have to add $(UNICODE_CFLAGS) to
some of the Makefile.am's

Lars, is this related to your recent change in font.c?

Should I commit the Makefile.am's with $(UNICODE_CFLAGS)?
