ReleaseDC failure dia win32 v0.88.2

Hi,

Apologies if I have missed something I should have read however I have 
recently installed
the win32 port of dia and keep getting he following  message to the dos console
Gdk-WARNING **: gdkgc-win32.c:934: ReleaseDC failed
and on attempting to print (to a postscript printer)
Failed to schedule job : The handle is invalid.

dia v0.88
installed using
dia-0.88.2-setup.exe
win 98
exact version Microsoft Windows 98 4.10.2222 A

Is this a bug or am I being stupid,

Despite these glitches dia looks good and will be useful.
