Ahoj,
starting last Monday (July 28th), we entered the API/ABI freeze for
GNOME 2.23.
This means that no API or ABI changes should be made in the platform
libraries. API freeze is not required for non-platform libraries, but is
recommended.
Future freezes (and other deadlines):
+ Feature and module freeze, August 4th
+ New API must be documented, August 11th
+ UI Freeze, starting August 18th
+ String Freeze, starting September 1st
+ Hard Code Freeze, starting September 15th
