Hi Junfeg,

On Ubuntu, if you have downloaded latest LDTP binary package from http://ldtp.freedesktop.org, then do:

# Assuming both ldtp*.deb and python-ldtp*.deb are in same folder
dpkg -i *ldtp*.deb

On RPM based distribution you can do
rpm -ivh *ldtp*.rpm

From source:

tar zxvf ldtp-version.tar.gz
cd ldtp-version
./configure --prefix=/usr
make
sudo make install

Can you try importing ldtp module from python prompt ?
