Thanks for the positive feedback.
I was hoping to get a discussion going about the specific design.
The current proposal introduces extra steps that might make it more
cumbersome to switch between open tabs and perform other common tasks
(for instance, it would take you two clicks to go from the current
page to Bookmarks, and another two to go back).
Displaying the open pages in a static grid seems to help when
switching between them, reducing the likelihood that the user forgets
that a certain page is already open. There are other possibilities for
achieving this that we could explore.
It might also be good to allow one-click access to Bookmarks and Queue
from the current open page, rather than having the user move to the
overview and then having to find their way around it. I can't help but
feeling that this places too much emphasis on the organisation rather
than on the content itself.
