I actually prefer the idea of NEW/CONFIRMED as statuses. Most people
won't appreciate the difference between NEW and UNCONFIRMED. I'd mostly
like to use the CONFIRMED status for long running bugs so we can say
"yes, we know about this, it's just really hard".
