I guess a good start would be to try to get glib to compile and work on
minix since everything in GNOME depends on that. You will probably end
up missing lots of bits and pieces when it comes to hardware support and
so on because neither udev, upower, udisks, hal, or any of the other
support libraries are ported.

Does XFree/Xorg even run there?
