Ok,
I know we're due for a devel snapshot, I promise you one as soon
as I get liststore stable (liststores are a base requirement as
they are needed to convert combo boxes).
As of about 2 weeks ago I'm confindant that we have everything save
GtkMenus in gtk-builder-convert replicated in glade's conversion routine.
So any case specific bug reports on glade-3 edited ui files are really
appriciated at this time...
Menus:
I have these patches[1] against gtk+ that are pretty straight
forward and solve the problem of loading natively built GtkMenu
hierarchies, they need a final tweak to solve the
accelerator-->toplevel window problem and a resubmission, needless
to say I just havent found or taken the time yet - this also
means we cant use native menus until the next major gtk+ release.
GtkUIManagers:
These could be very straight forward to write, we wouldnt have
the uimanagers build the menus and toolbars in runtime, only in
a possible future "demo window", I'd say it represents about a
week of work including the learning curve (2 or 3 real nights hacking
for myself).

Does that work out of the box ? then be my guest, but I have
to say this time around it pains me a little to see so many
people struggling with this conversion script problem, it looks
like alot of energy spent... when all I really need is for one or
two of you to really bleed with me on the hackfield for a week,
and case closed.
Cheers,
-Tristan
