I ran into that yesterday. I was working with jhbuild check outs so I
had to rerun./autogen.sh as
$ PKG_CONFIGURE_PATH=/opt/gnome2/pkgconfig ./autogen.sh --prefix=/opt/gnome2/usr
That took care of anything that was already fixed in svn,
