Thought I'd chime in as the current "maintainer" for these modules.
(along with any other module that doesn't get attention from others ;-)
Either way is fine with me. I'll probably do releases on a regular basis
anyway to get translation work out. And some bugs actually do get fixed
in these libs too. Behdad's patches to fix printing black squares being
the most prominent the last cycle :-)
