2.26 will use GTK+ 2.16

Hello beloved hackers!
The GTK+ team decided for a short 2.16 cycle, so it can already be
used for GNOME 2.26; this is great news and something many developers
wanted, as there are already interesting features:
- new status icon api
- using threads for page rendering when printing
- the new invisible char handling
I already updated the JHBuild moduleset; there will probably be a
2.15.0 release in early January[1].
Also I'd like to remind you the API/ABI Freeze is planned for January
12th; have a look at GTK+ trunk right now so your valuable comments
can be heard in time.
