desktop background notes

Hi, can anyone tell me if they know of an application that easily allows me 
to save written notes on the desktop background (preferably overlayed on top of the 
background image)? I don't want a seperate application window, I want to have some 
notes actually embedded in my background image, and be able to easily change them from 
time to time. I realize I could just edit the background image each time, but this would 
be time consuming and I would prefer an application to do this quickly and easily, like 
Samurize for windows. Does such an app exist?
