Keyboard autorepeat got "funny" between 2.20 and 2.22.  When you boot
2.22, your autorepeat rate is noticeably lower than before.  If you open
the keyboard capplet, the slider the same value as before.  If you
jiggle the slider just a little, the autorepeat rate goes back to normal
(i.e. not proportionally to the tiny change you just made).
