bit of both - we do have people planning or interfacing it to QT based apps

We dont depend on anything Gnome-only and we use only glib so if that 
counts as desktop agnostic then yes (some people might think glib 
dependency is not desktop-agnostic but Im not going to argue petty 
points :))
